Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of Crown Agroforestry Plantations, Inc. (CAPI) is to develop, manage, and scale sustainable agroforestry plantations that reliably produce high-value perfumery, aromatic, spice, citrus, and specialty crops for domestic and international markets, while generating long-term economic, environmental, and social value.

Specifically, CAPI exists to:

  1. Secure Sustainable Supply of Perfumery Crops
Establish long-term, traceable, and ethically managed sources of rare and high-demand botanicals such as agarwood, sandalwood, elemi, ylang-ylang, champaca, and frangipani.
  2. Create Asset-Backed Agricultural Investments
Build appreciating biological assets through tree-based systems that deliver predictable medium-term income and high-value long-term harvests.
  3. Integrate Agriculture with Perfumery & Wellness Value Chains
Supply raw and semi-processed materials to fragrance, essential oil, cosmetics, food, and wellness industries, and enable downstream value addition through strategic partners.
  4. Advance Regenerative & Climate-Positive Land Use
Restore degraded or underutilized lands using multi-strata agroforestry systems that enhance biodiversity, soil health, and carbon sequestration.
  5. Enable Inclusive Growth & Knowledge Transfer
Engage farmers, cooperatives, academic institutions, and communities through contract growing, training, and shared-value models.
  6. Position the Philippines as a Global Source of Premium Botanicals
Strengthen the country’s reputation as a reliable supplier of high-quality, sustainably produced perfumery and aromatic raw materials.

Secondary Purpose

  4. Generate ESG, Carbon, and Nature-Based Value
Support carbon credit generation, biodiversity enhancement, and sustainability reporting for investors, partners, and institutional stakeholders.
  5. Serve as a Demonstration & Training Platform
Function as a living demonstration farm for agroforestry best practices, perfumery crop cultivation, and sustainable plantation management.
  6. Strengthen National & International Partnerships
Enable collaboration with universities, government agencies, research institutions, and global buyers to strengthen the Philippine perfumery agroforestry ecosystem.
